The Ocean Wolves of Caycuse Blockade is Indigenous lead, matrilineal, and is a queer anti-colonial space. We invite all Indigenous people, and settler folks who have done work on actualizing decolonization to join us. Come prepared to follow the leadership of Indigenous Women and Elders.
This is a Direct Action reoccupation on the land and requires folks with a level of experience being in the bush. We are in the process of establishing ourselves and so the infrastructure is in the making and supported by the folks at Fairy Creek. While we work together and take care of one another it is important to show up ready to be self reliant and contribute.
Having your own transportation in and out of the re-occupation is crucial. Plan to bring warm and water proof clothing. Tarps, rope, sleeping bags, tents, headlamps etc. are a must. Bring food to share. For additional supplies we have a list. Keep in mind there is no cell reception out on the land and if you have any electronics bring your own methods for charging.
We need folks long term, however short term visits are welcome. Are you a cook and able to run a camp kitchen, you're extra welcome! If you're interested in joining us send an email to OceanWolves@protonmail.com
